My puppies eat everything. They just ate this weird mold that used to be a plant. Can it kill them?

It was an Elephant Ear. a big leaf plant. The plant died(froze) and rotted. The puppies ate it and I'm afraid it will kill them.

It didn't even phase her...so I wouldn't worry about it. Your dogs will be fine.

Heck I know of people who have eaten weirder things and lived....

Reply:call the vet now
Reply:take them to the vets, some plants are extremly toxic to animals including humans
Reply:Dogs have an incredible imune system. My dogs have eaten things you dont want to know about. If u are really concerned you could take them to a vet but i wouldnt worry to much about it.
Reply:I DONT REALLY THINK AN ELEPHANT EAR CAN KILL THEM BUT IM NOT REALLY AN EXPERT ON PLANTS EVEN IF I AM TRAININ TO BE A VET.
Reply:Some dogs arent effected by certain things while others are. It may not of hurten your puppies but it may have depending on your dog. No matter what tho Elephant Ear has killed dogs before so a visit to the vet is nessicary. The sooner the better.
