My granny had a green thumb?

I have a black one. My Elephant Ears are yellow (some of them are streaked with yellow). I tried liquid iron and it helped some. I've used Osmocote and Miracle Grow with and without acid. Put down some manure in spring. I give up. I can water a lot or very little and they still look the same. They are in full sun.

It sounds like you are doing too much. Epsom salts will green up many plants.
Reply:Over fertilizing can do more harm than good. Just leave it alone for now.
Reply:So did mine, and my great grandmother had an even greener thumb. I'm afraid that I can't be of help. It sounds like you are doing everything right, maybe you should check with a florist. We live in the desert, a lot of things grow here, but nothing pretty like back east.
Reply:Green thumb ??

Oops careful, could be gangrene.
Reply:Semi shade and lots of watter is the way to grow elephant ears. It sounds like you may have over fertilized this plant.
Reply:Too much care.
