How can I get my outdoor plants greener?

My queen palms and philedendroms (The ones like elephant ears) are kind of yellow, also my calla lilies. I don't think that I planted them with enough fertilizer, so what can I do now that they have already been planted?

How can I get my outdoor plants greener?
There are two main nutrient deficiencies that can cause yellowing of foliage. Nitrogen is the first, but since you used a fertilizer this nutrient was definitely included. A second cause of yellowing is the lack of iron. Sometimes there is plenty of iron in the soil, but the pH causes it to be unavailable for your plants. I find the brand IRONITE easy to use for correcting the problem. Just sprinkle the granules around your plants as directed on the package, and water in.
Reply:Sounds like they may have an iron deficiancy, theres a few products based on sequested iron, it may be good to buy a soil testing kit %26amp; see if the ph is acid or lime etc %26amp; google....oops yahoo the plants to see what they like to grow in then add a suitable compost
Reply:Miracle Grow works fast..mix with water %26amp; sprinkle on. sunshine helps too.
