Elephant ear plants over the winter?

Well if you have a inside, controlled atmosphere should not be a problem.

Did not say if you are inside, outside nor where you lived....

Here where we live in Oregon the plant would die outside. If it were inside my indoor plant room (80 degrees, nice lights etc.) it would be fine.

Those plants can grow big too!

Elephant ear plants over the winter?
Greenhouse, sun room for continual growing or dry storage of the tubers. By that I mean don't water the pot keep cool and in dark.
Reply:It would help to know where you are located to give the best answer. I live in South Louisiana and have some giant elephant ear plants in my garden. They will get knocked back if we get a freeze but they always come back in the spring. If you are somewhere that gets a hard freeze for days they won't survive outside.
